Former President John Dramani Mahama lacks the vision and qualifications to govern Ghana once more, according to Percival Kofi Akpaloo, the founder and head of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG).

He has emphasised the lack of innovation in the 2024 National Democratic Congress (NDC) Presidential Candidate and urged voters not to give him another chance in the upcoming general elections.

His remarks follow the former president’s resounding victory in the NDC’s weekend presidential primary.

In order to defeat Kojo Bonsu, a former mayor of Kumasi, Mr. Mahama received 98.9% of the valid votes cast by almost 335,000 delegates.

The outcome shows that despite leaving the presidency in 2017 after serving for more than four years, he still enjoys a sizable fan base inside the NDC.

Kofi Akpaloo responded to Mahama’s victory by saying that while he may continue to have a lot of support inside the NDC, he could not be re-elected in an interview with Onua TV.

He said that Ghana required a visionary leader to steer the country through its economic downturns because John Mahama lacked the ability and vision to do so.

Mahma is knowledgeable because he served as president, but he lacks the vision to save Ghana from its economic crisis.

It was remarked again, “Mahama is now an elderly man, and the Bible predicted in Joel 2:28 that old men would dream. As a result, Mahama is dreaming and will never again serve as Ghana’s president.”

According to Kofi Akpaloo, the LPG will prevail in the general elections of 2024, form the new government, and rebuild Ghana with better policies.

He urged the public to support him for the position of president of Ghana because the two major political parties in the nation had disappointed Ghanaians in the past.
